RE: Add separate initial instruction text file to VIBS write-in section
Glad to hear it.
Actually, this will allow me to get some
detailed initial instructions in,
without having them repeat throughout
the write-in session. This will be a big help, I hope. I am looking to
give a fairly detailed instructions set at first, then once a voter
presses a key to select a letter, the instructions would
revert to a brief version. The brief
version would be repeated then, throughout the rest of the write-in
session.

Not too difficult. It worked
that way initially, and then we changed it to
just one instruction clip because it didn't seem worth it. We
can
concatenate a VIBS_WI_Welcome with VIBS_WI_Instuctions at the
beginning.
That is, until the user presses their first key. Only
VIBS_WI_Instructions
would repeat after that. This is analogous to the main VIBS welcome
and
instructions.
I have to ask though, what would this script actually say?
"Welcome to the
audio ballot write-in entry"??? Are you sure that is worth the
breath?
