So there is an obvious workaround. After a few hours on battery, install
2.12.

Display indicated Power as "High" . Removed power cord and
used for 8 hours. The Power remained on "High" until
it shut off. Plugged it back in and the Power display still
says "High".
Guess the indicator is not working
