Are you sure the AVTS units won't work?  I worked in some backward compatibility stuff a long time ago just for this reason.  Let me know if it doesn't work.  It should unless I have my versions mixed up, or unless there is a bug in there.  You shouldn't even have to re-download your floppies if they are already programmed.

Yes, I can go to the latest version and it may work.  However, in this case, the customer would not only have to update Gems but also their AVTS units.  Is this something we want to ask them to do??  I know that installing both Gems & AVTS software is not difficult, and we could probably talk them through it on the phone or with some instructions.  But I do not have the time for it right now, does anybody else???

Can't reproduce it under 1.17.3.  Folks, before you post bug reports please check the latest version to see if it has already been fixed.
