Subject: Shame on Adobe!

As someone familiar with IT industry, I am extremely disappointed at the
irresponsible behavior that Adobe has demonstrated in facilitating the arrest
of Dimitry Sklyarov.

As a US citizen, I think of freedom to be the most valuable aspect of life,
and I believe one should have the freedom to do research on security
(including vulnerabilities) and disseminate relevant information as part of
intellectual freedom. Adobe should be ashamed for charging its consumers
hefty licensing fees for "supposedly" secure software while, in fact, the
security implementations were beyond childish, as Mr. Sklyarov has clearly
demostrated. I find Mr. Sklyarov's action to be a great service to us, the consumers. If Adobe had any sense of responsibility and even the slightest bit of ethical value, they would better spend the time improving their third grade
security instead of asking the Govt. to arrest anyone who exposes
these vulnerabilities.

Adobe - you may be able to temporarily hide under a moronic act like DMCA but if you
think your customers are too foolish to get through to the truth, you are
only fooling yourself.

Please stop deceiving us by charging money for pathetic pieces of software
and learn to take responsibility for your mistakes. Above all, stop using
Dmitry Sklyarov as your scapegoat. Show some integrity!

Sincerely,
