Josh,
That wasn't my point. File Access is
fine. When Tari asked about having difficulty downloading a file (which
happened to contain a user manual), I mistakenly went right to file access
instead of documentation. I might have realized my mistake except I
found GEMS user manuals there and assumed I had found the right place. My
question was why do these two directories each have a different subset of GEMS
users manuals? File access/docs/ has 1-11 and three versions of 1-18 while
Documentation/GEMS/User Guides has 1-11, 1-17, and 1-18. One possible
answer is that one place contains works in process while the other is
released manuals, but I couldn't tell for sure. No big deal. Just
wondering.

Pat,
Perhaps the naming
isn't clear. 'File Access' is the utility that I wrote to replace FTP access.
I didn't want to
continue calling it "FTP Access" as that was no longer
accurate.
However, if this is
confusing people, I may change the wording to something a little
clearer.
Josh.
FYI. When I looked earlier, I was
looking in the wrong place. I was looking in docs under "file access"
rather than "Documentation". Why do we have both places?

rev 7 on staff site
I can't find it at all. I
see 1-11 and various versions of 1-18, but no 1-17. I assume you
are looking in the docs directory. ...Pat
I have tried to get this doc several times and it appears to be
empty or broken - can someone please load it up there or tell
me what I am doing wrong?
Thanks
Tari
