I
would choose either 2 or 3. It is good to not have to print whole report to
see the ballot cast info. This might even be critical in an early voting
scenario if you need the ballots cast summary for some reason, but are not
allowed to see the vote totals. I have not experienced this, but the flexibility
to do it is nice.
I
can see the benefit of having the report at the end of the tape, but
I have always had people fold the tape instead of roll it, that way you
can control what part of the tape falls to the outside. Folding is
much faster than rolling anyway, plus it is less likely to
unroll/unravel when the tape is laying on a table.
