Party Preference
races are used in (some) places that put both parties on the same ballot.
The voter gets to choose their
party in a special race. So it
doesn’t sound like Georgia applies. Thanks.

The terminology throws me
a bit here.
Georgia has very simple primary
ballot set up. They separate the
ballot for each party’s primary election. I’m pretty sure that
Maryland is the same way. Maybe Sue can
confirm.

party race selection, which happens in primaries, not straight party voting,
which happens in generals.
