If you
are suggesting adding the micro to the voting screen I disagree. Keep the
voting screen as uncluttered as possible.
When the voter has voted for the
number of candidates he is allowed the remaining vote targets of unvoted
candidates are eliminated. If anything, use a blurb in the
instructions such as ", any race unvoted or not fully voted will have have
empty voting targets beside eligible
candidates."
I like
the idea of using the micro in the summary screen. But I agree that this
should be optional.
(OK,
make it optional in the voting screen too.)

I thought Ken was considering the "number voted / the number
to vote for" 1/2 4/6 0/3
2/2 1/1 0/1 in the Summary race header.
Make it a macro for the race header @vote or
something. All unvoted races would display 0/x (x being the number to
vote for). As the candidates are voted the macro increments the number
voted.

I know, lets
make it a flag!

I disagree with this Tab. How about some other
opinions. I think this completely takes away the power of the
highlighting on the summary screen!

Larry,
The design was to only
highlight non-voted races but I agree that we should highlight
under-voted races. This will be done for the next release of the
Ballot Station.

I am trying to
determine the intent of the summary screen identifying a non voted
versus an under voted race.
The summary screen
will highlight a race in red when I fail to vote a race, indicating
that I did not vote or under voted a race. When I have an option to vote
for 2 and I only vote for one, the summary screen does not indicate
that I under voted, it summarizes the one vote I selected. It does not highlight it in
red.
Was the intent to only
show non voted races, or was it to indicate under voted races? If it was to show under
voted races, I will submit this as a
bug.
