It doesn't sound like a firmware problem, but rather a download problem with GEMS.  Probably.  The AVOS reports in the order GEMS tells it to.

 

Take the famous names database, load it into 1.17.16, and download that into AVOS 1.94w.  Does it print in the same order as the candidates appear in the race editor of GEMS?  If not, report it as a bug and attach the gbf (there are many famous names floating around).

Has anyone else experienced that the famous name candidates are not printing in ballot order for races - president, poet laureate, and comm of playwrights? The last candidate is listed first in pres and poet, 4th is 1st - 5th is 2nd in playwright.

    Any idea what is going on here? First noticed on 1.94w firmware - 1.94f card, but it also occurred when both were 1.94w.
