RE: R6 Power status
Ergo if the unit has a battery and is plugged in, its power status should
always be "high" (battery fully charged) or "charging", nez pas? And what
would cause the unit to be unable to discern the status of the battery (i.e.
"unknown")?

You don't have to power the unit up to charge the battery. All you need do
is plug the unit into AC Power. The R6 battery charging system does the
rest.

OK smart aleck, does the battery charge any time the unit is plugged in and
turned on? (Yes, your honor, I am leading the witness...)
