Yes, but only the one manager card is
required. If you've done anything with TS before, you would have
had one on hand. I hadn't imagined it would be a problem, so I
didn't need luck on my side.
My point was that you didn't need manager-type
cards for your special programming card media (as you referred to them,
"master cards"). All you needed for that was the 4KBit cards,
which are also used as voter cards. Agreed
BTW: If you only
have six
precincts (ballot styles), you can fit all
six onto one "master card". You don't need a "master card" for
each precinct, unless you need to program each Spyrus with only one
precinct ID. Why do you think you need to program six "master
cards"? I have six different ballots, a Master
Card is created with one of the 6 and entered into the Spyrus in one of
the numbers. Ballot one is located in keypad 1, etc. I do
not know how to load all 6 on one Master Card and program them
numerically onto the six digits on the
Spyrus.
I await your
instructions.

Hi Ian
Received Spyrus stuff, thanks. A
Manager Card is definitely required. The Manager Card is
inserted into the Spyrus to format it and make ready for the master
cards to follow, maximum of 6.
Luckily I have one Manager Card
here.
