FW: error message

Can someone help with this error message?  Diane said the only thing they
have done on their server is to upgrade Office 97 to Office 2000.  They are
running GEMS 1.16.10.2 and have not upgraded GEMS since just before the Nov
2000 election.  GEMS has run fine until now.

Choose and election to open
Opens and able to put the password in
Then message shows up
Box labeled Gems
Internal OLE Automation error
Ok
If you click OK,, the election comes up, but anytime you try to look at
anything within the election the message pops up again.
