Bill Bowers and Chris Jenkins from GBS are in
for training this week and request the following Accu-Vote behavior in a
multi-party single ballot primary:
If the voter makes a selection in the preference
race and crosses over (votes for another party's race down the ballot), the
ballot is not rejected. The crossover race is ignored.
If the voter does not make a selection in the
preference race and crosses over (votes for races of more than one party), the
ballot is rejected.
This is remedial stuff, I'm sure. I don't work with
preference races at all, so I thought I would put it out on support so I made
sure I gave them the right answer as to the appropriate settings.
