Yes.  Check the GEMS readme.rtf 1.7.5 entry.

I should note though that Mike (who is out of town) has been less than
impressed with IE5.  MS rushed out this release, and some of the DLLs that
ship with IE5 are still what MS considers beta.  For the time being, we
suggest running IE4SP2, but there is nothing specific to stop you from
running IE5.  FWIW, I run IE5 on my machine.
