Indeed,
this has come up before. Problem is that no one has come up with good
verbiage, and this suggestion doesn’t qualify. YES and NO are not issues. It is the race that is
the issue, not the “candidates”. Saying “advance to the next issue”
would mean advancing to the next race. Candidate may not be the best
word, but it does at least make clear where the voter is
going.
