Could you please add the following to the rcr
list:
The ability for GEMS to adjust the size and
origin of a ballot's image on the printed output of a BOD laser printer
(specifically a Minolta Pageworks 25).
When testing the Minolta Pageworks 20 as a BOD
solution, it was found that the ballot image size on the paper was 4% larger
across its width than a 100% image. We need the scaling (magnification) of
the ballot image across the paper to be within +/- 2% of the 100% size. I
believe the issue could be solved by providing a method of scaling the ballot
image size up or down (by inches or points, or whatever units) and also a method
of relocating the origin point (bottom left corner) using the same units as the
scaling method. This should only have to be done once per computer/printer
configuration.
I don't have an estimate for a date needed.
Larry Ensminger would have to provide that information.
