Sorry to stamp on this one early, but no.  If you need color headers and
races, use color postscript.  You should even be able to cut-and-paste color
text out of WordPad into GEMS.  I've never tried it, but it should work.  If
it doesn't, submit a bug report to support@dieboldes.com.

The red oval plates are a bad enough hack, and this is a very slippery slope
you are traveling down.  Will the next RCR be for a button in the candidate
dialog to put the encumbent in red?
