Subject: RE: Ballot Station 4.3.6.1 Battery Charge indicatorFor the following cases the AC power is always plugged in and power cycling between case 1 and case 2.When there is a pcmcia card installed in the unit, programmed with an election, power on, the status of the battery is displayed ascase1 Charging green 80When there is No pcmcia card installed in the unit, power on, administrator card inserted go into supervisor functions, the status of the battery is displayed ascase 2 AC Online green 100Wait for communication cycle...thencase 3 Charging yellow 80case 1 and case 2 should initialize with the same status. Not necessarily, I would not be surprised if inserting a PCMCIA draws a little power from the battery and makes it go to 80%. I'll, however, update the dialogs so that whenever one comes up, it automatically query the power status rather than waiting for the time period. This way all dialogs will be consistent all the time.case 1 and case 3 are inconsistent in colour as well. I agree and will look into this.

Subject: RE: Ballot Station 4.3.6.1 Battery Charge indicatorWould you please explain where is the bug here? Is it the change from 100% to 10% between the two dialog invocations? How much time was there between 1 and 2 below? and was the AC power cable unplugged before the second insertion of the admin card?Power status is updated approximately every one minute, so in-between changes will only show after the wait time elapses.Ataa El-Ganayni-----Original Message-----
