Any color options may be defined when the election status is set to 'Cards Laid Out' except the Color palette under the Parties tab in the VoterGroup Editor. Since the assignment of color does not affect ballot layout, it should be possible to change this color when the election status is 'Cards Laid Out'. This color field can be changed when no election status is set.
