I assume you mean ballot 394447. This was fixed in GEMS 1.17.17: see attached. Please check the current release before submitting bugtracks. Also, your subject is unrelated to the problem. Another follow up to this. The problem with the general database and printing was different than the primary. This time is was to do with voting for more than one write-in in the race (the other one was header candidates). This is now also fixed. Unfortunately it has to be fixed on the GEMS side, so it looks like we are going to need a 1.17.17 after all.Ken-----Original Message-----

Subject: RE: Not able to Print/View ballots within Ballot Audit Window1.17.17 couldn't have been submitted, as it doesn't exist yet. 1.17.16 was released last Friday. I am not sure what "Tari also has an outstanding bug" means. I would really appreciate it if people could refer to bugs by their bugtrack title and date of submission. As for this problem, it is due to header candidates and ballot station. It can in theory be fixed on either GEMS or the BS. The problem is right now the two systems disagree on what to do with with header candidates. We have decided to fix this on the BS side. The fix will be in BS 4.0.10 and 4.1.1 along with all the other stuff requested by Wyle. So for this bug at least, certification should not affected.Ken-----Original Message-----

Subject: RE: Not able to Print/View ballots within Ballot Audit WindowDoes this mean it may not be a bug? Either way as you know 1-17-17 has already been submitted and Tari also has an outstanding bug that may also increment our version control numbers.
Once we get this under control I will again need the source code text file showing the portion of the code that has changed for submission to Florida SOS and Metamor, I will also need 2 install CD’s.
I would prefer to wait until next week to send this on to Florida. If I notify them of problems now, I run the risk of them canceling Phase II until this is all resolved. Damned if I do and damned if I don’t.
Thanks to everyone working so diligently testing and resolving these problems.

Thanks. I have narrowed it down to your header candidates. If you view ballot results on the BS, you will see that votes are misattributed to header candidates.

Subject: Not able to Print/View ballots within Ballot Audit WindowI have voted several times on a AVTS unit, using version 4.0.8. I then transfer my totals to GEMS, using version 1.17.15. When I go to view or print the ballots within the Ballot Audit window, I get the following errors.
For the attached Closed Primary database, I get the following error when I try to view some of the ballots. However I am able to print out all of the ballots, without any errors.
For the attached General - Straight Party database, I get the following error when I try to print out Precinct 5. However I am able to view all of the ballots, without any errors.
I am positive that we will perform the Printing/Viewing of ballots during the Phase II Florida test. I am not sure what the sequence of events that need to be performed, before we do the Phase II Florida test, since the fixing of these bugs will create a new version, and we have already gone through Phase I testing with GEMS 1.17.15
Thanks,
