I ran Piedmont's election tonight on 1.17.9 and bombed out of
the program with a Dr. Watson twice. Didn't have time to go through any
diagnostics though. This was just doing standard election summary reports
while I had the server up.

printing out audit log.
The
system that I am doing the testing on, is only loaded up to SP4. I
will download from the net, SP6 tomorrow, and try that.
I tried different printers and do not get any
errors. I'll continue to work on this problem.
Jeff, are you running NT SP6, is that
correct?

I loaded up 1.17.11, and received the same
error. However, when I change the printer to Generic Text, I do not
get the Dr. Watson error. Using a QMS printer or a HP5si printer, I
get the Dr. Watson error. Any suggestions???
Jeff,
I was able to reproduce the problem in
1-17-9, but 1-17-11 works fine for me. Please try 1-17-11
and see if it fixes the
problem.

Tom
Schuhler of GBS encountered this problem in both Gems 1.15.10 and Gems
1.17.7.5. I loaded up a several different databases in both of
these versions and get the same error, Dr. Watson exception, after
clicking the Print button on the Audit Log window. It does
print out the Audit Log to the printer correctly, however, you get
booted out of Gems, and have to log back into
Gems.
