The filled in oval has become a "wmf".   
 
What version did you notice the change from bmp to wmf?  (trick question)
I have not been able to use it since. 
 
Yes, importing metafiles appears broken.  Probably since we started using the new rich edit control in 1.16.1.  Tab, can you please take a peek?
