To all staff;
A bug has been found in GEMS
"Candidate Block Options" within the RaceEditor. If a candidate
block width is specified that is less than the race width then the voting
positions printed on the ballot art work will not match the data downloaded to
the Accu-Vote. This option is usually used when trying to get candidate
ovals to be place in the center of the ballot.
The solution to this problem is to
ensure the candidate block width in the race editor is > 32. If you
have already layed out ballots with this option and the ballots are printed then
you will have to manually adjust the ballots so the ovals are back in the
position as printed.
We are working on a fix presently
and will release it as soon as possible.
